Steffen (commoner) is the Hengistbury town baker. With brown-gray hair, he’s a little plump from too much bread but all that means is he has a finer understanding of the breadmaking arts than his counterpart in Thornbury. People line up daily to collect fresh bread from Steffen and his bakery serves as a secondary community hub before the Bleeding Heart opens for the day. What isn’t heard there might be heard here.
