Light (Destiny)

Light is that which reveals and purifies, merciless and true. Light exposes and tears away at all deception until only the bare and naked reality is left shivering at the universe’s attention. Truth is the highest calling, a purifying radiance that burns away lies and leaves only what is real. Those with a destiny of light tend to be straightforward and direct, interested in justice and what is right. They rarely care about any consequences of their prying or the complexities of situations, only that the raw unfiltered truth and reality is revealed for all to see.

Source of Inspiration: Revelation. You draw inspiration from uncovering and exposing lies or secrets. You gain inspiration whenever you uncover a lie that someone went to great lengths to hide. 

Publicly reveal a lie or scandal, solve a mystery, crack a code, expose corruption, or learn lost information. 

Inspiration Feature: Truth Seeking. You know how to uncover the hidden and discern the truth. Whenever you fail an Insight or Perception check, you can use your reaction to spend your inspiration and learn any information that would have been gained by succeeding on the check.

Fulfilling Your Destiny 

You fulfill your destiny of Light when you reveal a truth that alters the public’s perception of the world.

Shed light on a wide-reaching underground cult or crime syndicate, reveal some truth about deities or other powerful cosmic beings, expose and eliminate major corruption within a powerful government.

Fulfillment Feature: Illuminating Figure. Your prying eyes see past even the most tightly woven lies. You gain an expertise die on Insight checks and on all checks to find hidden enemies and see through illusions.
