Undercut Holes
The snow is particularly thick on the ground here, muffling sound and making it extra tricky to find a safe path through. The surface in this area is especially unstable and a misstep could mean tumbling into the icy depths below.

Hidden Danger. This hazard can be detected with a passive Perception of 17, a Perception check, or a Survival check. If it is not detected, it triggers a Critical Failure.
A group check is required to cross this area safely. Game trails can be located with a Survival check, and traveling on the sturdiest parts of the bog requires Acrobatics or Athletics checks. Anyone using an item designed for traversing swamps (like 10-foot poles, marshland gear, and bog silts) gains an expertise die for each item being used.
Critical Failure: The party is carried 50 (1d10 × 10) feet away (roll separately for each adventurer) in random directions (roll 1d8 to determine which), taking 7 (2d6) bludgeoning damage as the current drags them along. Additionally, each adventurer loses 7 (3d4) Supply .
Failure: Each adventurer that fails suffers a level of fatigue and is carried 30 (1d6 × 10) feet away in a random direction (roll 1d8 to determine which). Additionally, they each lose 2 (1d4) Supply .
Success: The adventurers cross safely.
