Amorphous Form. The elemental can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.

Death Burst. The minor elemental explodes when it dies. Each creature within 5 feet of it must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC, taking 7 (2d6) bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Insubstantial. The minor elemental cannot be grappled , knocked prone , or restrained .

The Elemental Planes are also home to genies, mephits , and other elemental creatures.
