Amphibious. The leech creeper can breathe both air and water
Fire Fear. When the leech creeper comes within 3 feet of an open flame, it detaches if attached to a host.
Swarm. The swarm is composed of 5 or more creatures. If it is subjected to a psionic power, attack, or other effect that affects only one target, it takes any damage but ignores other effects. It can share its space with Medium or smaller creatures or objects. The swarm can move through any opening large enough for one tiny creature without squeezing.
Area Vulnerability. The swarm takes double damage from any effect that targets an area.
Swarm Dispersal. When the swarm is reduced to 0 hit points, it turns into 2 (1d4) leech creepers, each of which are bloodied.
ACTIONS
Latch On. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 5 piercing damage, or 2 piercing damage if the swarm is bloodied, and the swarm attaches to the target. A creature can use an action to detach it, and it can detach itself as a bonus action.
Blood Drain. The swarm drains blood from the creature it is attached to. The creature loses 20 (5d8) hit points. After the swarm has drained 36 hit points, it detaches itself and can’t use Blood Drain again until it finishes a rest.
