Minor Fiendish Ally
You beseech the forces of hell or the abyss, and an imp or a quasit answers your call.
The fiend does not need to obey you, but is willing to bargain for its services in exchange for items, sacrifices, or favors. A task that takes minutes is worth 1 gold per minute, a task that takes hours is worth 10 gold per hour, and a task requiring days is worth 100 gold per day. A task that poses little or no risk only requires half the usual amount of payment, and an extremely dangerous task might call for double the usual payment. The price might also be raised or lowered depending on how well the task aligns with the creature’s own interests and the goals of its fiendish masters, even accepting a token payment if the task advances their own agenda.
The imp or quasit remains for 24 hours before returning to its place of origin. While summoned, the fiend is free to act as it pleases and advance its own goals as long as it upholds its end of the bargain.
The fiend remains for 1 week when summoned using a 3rd-level spell slot, 1 month when using a 5th-level spell slot, 1 year when using a 7th-level spell slot, or permanently when using a 9th-level spell slot.
